Firework Party Celebrations with Manchester Fireworks
How to host the perfect Bonfire Party
Excellent, you've decided to host a Bonfire party, but with so much to arrange where do you start? Although it may be overwhelming at first, planning a party can be fun and simple. So take the stress out of bonfire night with our handy hints.
One month before
Draw up a list of people you would like to attend your party and send out invitations as soon as possible. Don't leave this too late, otherwise you may find that people have accepted invitations elsewhere. Set a deadline date for responses to be returned.
Three weeks before
Buy your fireworks. We recommend that you use our comprehensive effects section to research the different types of fireworks and their effects before making your purchase. Also consider whether children will be present at the event, as this may alter the type of firework that you wish to buy.
After buying fireworks ensure that they are stored in a safe and dry place out of the reach of children.
Two weeks before
You will also need to start thinking about food, party decoration and ways to entertain any children that may be attending. We have party ideas pages on our website that offer suggestions regarding food, games and activities for Bonfire night.
To give your party that wow factor you may wish to decorate your garden and/or house with fairy lights and glow sticks.
One week before
Ensure you inform neighbours that you intend to host the event, especially if they have small children or animals.
Go shopping to buy in any necessary items for the party, such as food and craft materials.
On the night
It is important to follow the Fireworks code for a safe bonfire party.
